Thirty years ago, the engineer Wolfgang Bauer left Linde AG to build his own business – IWB. From day one, the company offers a complete range of services in the areas of ICA engineering to a worldwide customer base. The robust service portfolio covers new constructions, modernization, the development of automation concepts, planning and implementation of maintenance programs, as well as the realization of process management systems.
Early on, it became evident that there is an increasing demand in the gas industry to not only reduce the dependence on the workforce for quality assurance but also to gain control of overall operational excellence – time to develop turnkey automation solutions. It’s a pretty complex process to master all procedures in a way that any aspect related to product analysis, and the final release of goods is continuously monitored, automatically managed, and hence executed flawlessly.
A decade ago, IWB’s vision of full automation was turned into reality. Backed up with in-depth industry- and international work experience, the first version of a holistic turnkey solution for the gas industry was launched – CRYO.TAS. A product name, referencing complete terminal automation for cryogenic gases.
Every air separation unit is different with regards to its technical infrastructure, and so are business requirements of IWB’s global customer base. Secured simple worldwide accessibility, scalability to support future needs, smart data, and an optional multiclient structure are preconditions. To develop a turnkey solution to perfection is the result of customer-centric thinking, sincere commitment, and high service orientation. It’s also the payoff of a robust ecosystem with best in class partners, such as CGS, contributing to CRYO.TAS with analysis systems and hardware components for various applications.
Today, IWB proudly serves industry giants such as Air Liquide and the Messer Group. Prefabricated, entry-level products, such as CRYO.TAS COMPACT MED have been developed for faster deployment, and new features are developed continuously based on market inputs and industry trends. The key to success is a visionary spirit, passion, and professionalism. Both are vital attributes of IWB.
