Gelsenkirchen and Duisburg – as of late, the two remaining locations of Air Liquide Large Industries in Germany are equipped with CRYO.TAS. Both commissions have recently been carried out successfully and on schedule. The Western European cluster of Air Liquide Large Industries has reached another milestone on the path to fully automated loading.
The scalable turnkey solution CRYO.TAS is a powerful, modular, and scalable MES system. Developed specifically for the gas industry, it guarantees maximum process reliability and efficiency through full automation.
In Duisburg, the complete system was delivered in the maximum expansion stage (Enterprise Edition) in two phases, including engineering, setup, configuration, and PLC module programming. A pre-installed 3-room container (analysis room, bottle room, weighing room) was installed in parallel to the day to day business.
All analyses and loading processes are now in zero-man operation. In Gelsenkirchen, a scaled version is now running. Connected to a master system, all processes within a cluster can be controlled and monitored completely – platform-independent administration at a glance. Across the country, all plants have now been modernized with IWB as a long-standing partner. Further projects within the entire region are planned.
