The hydrogen appeal is globally gaining momentum. While it’s high on the agenda of the European Union, many other countries like Australia, Japan, and Korea drive more attention and resources towards potential markets. Today, the majority of hydrogen is still produced from fossil fuels. However, in light of global climate objectives, electrolysis is a promising and growing option for hydrogen production from renewable resources.
Beyond production, logistics needs a lot of attention. When it comes to assuring full compliance, as well as quality and safety assurance, IWB is a premier partner for hydrogen projects. We are experts in all related automation of analysis in conjunction with the actual distribution from storage to vehicles. Our reference turnkey solution CRYO.TAS provides all required analysis, loading terminals and dedicated loading control sequences with integrated gradient control for the pressure loading of trailers. On the hardware side, our typical setup includes a preassembled system container with an analysis for GH2 (ppm O2 and ppm H2O) next to other components.
The cascading of the storage tanks during loading is part of the control program of our PLC for automated filling stations. CRYO.TAS manages the pressure-temperature gradients required for loading (depending on the trailer type) in context with any trailer data. These parameters again are passed over to our loading control system after successful registration and identification. Flawless execution is critical. We look forward to supporting you early on in considerations, the actual project planning, HAZOP analysis, and implementation. If your company already runs CRYO.TAS for LOX, LIN, LAR, CO2, or LNG, new hydrogen sites can be integrated into a master cluster, which is another plus. There are plenty of advantages to utilizing CRYO.TAS, the biggest ones being its futureproof and seamless scalability. Automation and MES at its best. As a company, we are committed to hand over more than just an MES system: thirty years of in-house engineering, and continuous in-house solution development.
