The Need for Standardization

We’re all used to running different and dedicated software for specific purposes. And the most welcome applications are typically those who run smoothly in the background, entirely reliable and with a simple user experience. No one wants to take a deep dive into manuals – the more comfortable the overall operability, the better. Simplicity matters. That’s our philosophy with CRYO.TAS featuring guided wizards for the overall administration of literally all logistic aspects in gas distribution.
The same applies to functionality. It’s annoying for a user to manage various programs when aiming for just one outcome. Plus, you don’t want to reach out to different support teams of multiple vendors, in case of questions or troubleshooting. This scenario is nothing new; and a plant where trucks are queuing up due to system failure loses income. When talking standardization, the ultimate focus is on cost savings. You want to decrease the number of variables – it’s a simple as that. You want to plan changes for the better – standardized quality, safety and procedures = predictable OPEX. Every company has its own agenda, while industry norms are a given. Broadening the perspective – there is collaboration with an ecosystem, people outside your own organization, to consider as well.
In the case of fully automated truck loading, we are addressing a large community of drivers- individuals who are trained to operate in a broadly established manner. There are always standards behind the surface. Once again, standardization is not only a strategic direction – it is undoubtedly a more significant effort in execution. That’s where solid project management and experience across the industry matters. Starting inhouse from scratch, excluding this experience, would only serve to add more unfavorable variables to the overall equation.
We at IWB don’t just sell software. The value we bring to the table is always a comprehensive solution that secures desired standardization and combines it with scalable flexibility, phenomenal functionality, and decades of experience. Our customers can operate the same turnkey solution for the distribution of any gas product, be it medical gases, carbon dioxide, or hydrogen. In other words: while organizations within a business might be managed respectively by market segment, a company as a whole takes advantage of standardization beyond its product portfolio and clusters.
Right now is the best time to plan ahead.
